JEE MAIN 2019 to be held in Computer-Based (CBT) Mode – NOT Online

The central ministry gives a clarification that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JEE MAIN 2019 entrance exam in computer-based mode, but not online. This is due to, few areas might fall short in accessing an Internet connection, and therefore the test will not be conducted in an online format.

The ministry then states that candidates can take training on ‘how to appear for the computer-based test’ while referring the mock test facility, which would be available to applicants by NTA during the exam preparation time. To talk about computer-based test more precisely, the candidates need to reply on already downloaded answer sheets using a computer mouse.

Around, 12 lakh aspirants take JEE Mains entrance exam every year and from 2019 it’s going to be conducted twice a year.
